Inclusive Hiring, Creating Opportunities for Equality in the Workplace

Thursday, 24 August 2023

In today's rapidly evolving professional landscape, organisations recognise the value of creating opportunities for their employees to grow and thrive and to attract diverse talent. Our Talent Think Tank aims to explore the importance of creating opportunities for larger talent pools and strategies that enhance career growth to cultivate an equal, diverse, and inclusive workforce.

Inclusive hiring actively recognises diversity and embraces various qualities and perspectives that candidates bring to the organisation. It’s not simply about recruiting people from underrepresented backgrounds or with disabilities to tick off a box. Instead, inclusive hiring practices aim to level the playing field for all applicants to fight against recruitment bias and any form of discrimination.

This event brings together our community from various backgrounds to discuss and explore innovative approaches to work, diversity, internal mobility, and talent acquisition.

  • Being mindful of the unlimited types of diversity that exist in the human experience.
  • Making inclusion part of your EVP
  • Expanding your talent pools
  • Writing inclusive job descriptions and advertising
  • Using technology to remove bias in hiring and promotion
  • Skills-based hiring: why we need to be considering it?
  • Making recruitment and work accessible to everybody

We will bring together our community to discuss valuable insights and practical strategies that can be implemented to create a culture of growth, diversity, and talent acquisition within your organisation.
